Facilities: Roomy 12' x 12' ft. stalls, shavings and hay available for purchase. We have RV hookups for $25 per night and we also have accommodations in the main house. We offer a continental breakfast from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. which includes fresh fruit, homemade muffins, gourmet coffee and teas. Breakfast requests outside of normal hours can be accommodated if requested by 6 PM the night before. Excellent riding trails minutes away. We have a lighted hilltop arena and round pen. We are minutes from great restaurants and the Ross Barnett reservoir. Current Coggins and Health Certificates will be required on ALL horses.
Stalls are $25 per night in LOWER SHED ROW BARN. Stalls are $35 per night in UPPER LARGE BARN and includes shavings. Stalls are to be maintained by Horse Owner the remainder of time. Feeding is the horse owner's responsibility. We now accept credit cards.
Location: We're located on Highway 471. From I-20, heading east, take the downtown Brandon exit (Exit 56), turn right and go to the first light and make a left turn on Rt. 471. Go approx. 4.5 miles, turn left on Marsman Rd., take a right on Loydale Dr. and go up hill and into farm and gravel driveway to house on top of hill with large red barn. From I-20 heading west, take downtown Brandon exit 56, turn left on route 80 and go under overpass, straight ahead to light at top of hill. Turn left on route 471 at the light and then follow directions from route 471 to Marsman Rd.
Oakdale Farms is minutes from the Rankin County Multipurpose Arena, and close to the Jackson Equine Center, a short drive to the Shockaloe Trail in the beautiful Bienville National Forest and the Natchez Trace Equestrian Trail. Also, the Copiah County Fairgrounds (Galman, MS) and the Scott County/Forrest Coliseum are less than an hour drive.
