Liberty Meadows Ranch
7350 Ham Road
Ferndale, WA  98248
Tel:  360-927-4917
E-mail:  runswith5horses@gmail.com
Location on Google Maps (Confirmed)
Facilities: We have 2 large run-in shelters with a large attached grassy area/paddock separate from where the other horses live here on the property. Depending on the weather, you can choose to open the gate into the grassy area or keep it shut and your horses nearer the shelters. $25/night per horse, self care - you provide your own food and shavings or full care for $45/night including good quality local hay and we will keep your horse's area clean and tidy. We will also feed grain and supplements to your horse that you provide. For an additional charge, there is a 30 amp RV hook up/water (but no septic hook up) available right next to where your horses would stay. There is also a furnished 1 bedroom apartment in the barn - directly across from the horses - available for overnight rental by reservation $125/night for up to 2 people or $70/night on a weekly basis. Look out your window or door and say hi to your equine friends.
We are a private facility and have been in business for 12 years at this location offering long term boarding to retired, older horses. We practice natural horsemanship principles using horse behavior and psychology, creating calm horses living in a peaceful environment. This is why no stalls are provided and the horses have more freedom to move their feet. Especially after a long trailer journey, your horse will thank you for this place to rest and relax. We pride ourselves on offering a clean and safe environment for both horses and humans. There is a long, paved driveway and large paved parking area for trailer maneuvering convenience as well as a bright barn light to show you the way. You may also like to take a walk with your horse on the driveway. Perhaps both of you would appreciate the opportunity to stretch your legs and breathe fresh, clean air and to see eagles and hawks soaring above. *Healthy Horses*Living Happily*Naturally*
Location:  We are only 4.5 miles west of I-5, north of Bellingham, 10 minutes from the Canadian Peace Arch border crossing, and 90 minutes north of Seattle.
