Comments: (4/7/08) - "We liked the fact that Ms Carlson kept in touch with us by phone when we were a half hour out to ensure we located her with no problem.We were also pleased at how close to the highway the ranchito was and the closeness of the restaurants. We would stay there again.". . .(4/23/08) - "My wife and I were worry free after meeting Ms. Carlson and learning about some of her background in training/competition and farming. We found the map she gave us most helpful in finding a restaruant we liked and a decent near-by hotel. We also enjoyed meeting the miniature donkey babies. It was a good choice in horse motels for us."

Easy access to interstate, hotels, restaurants, etc.". . .(7/6/05) - "This is a wonderful home away from home for horses. You could not ask for nicer people and a cleaner barn. They were there when we arrived and at 7:00 am the next morning when we went to feed. I would highly recommend this family to everyone.". . . (8/12/05) - "We were travling from PA to TX with (2) 15mth old geldings. Of course we were late leaving on the first day and ended up not getting to this rest stop until 3am. Susan and her husband met up with us with smiles and guided us in. The stable was very clean and the stalls were well bedded and water was all ready.They even offered hay if we did not have any. They stayed with us until we were ready to leave and guided us back out and sent us in the direction of our hotel. Next day they were there to help us load and send us off again. Wonderful experience. Wonderful people. Cannot say enough good things about it.". . .(10/16/05) - "The grounds were beautiful and the stable was spotless. It is located off the highway in a very private area.(While still remaining close to the exit) Susan was very organized and prepared for my arrival.
