The famous Virginia Creeper Trail is only yards from our farm and offers 35 miles of easy riding and beautiful scenery. Please bring proof of a negative Coggins & Health Certificate. Electricity & water available for additional fee. Dogs are welcome and can be taken on a nice long walk. Please provide a portable kennel or horse trailer for their comfort of sleeping over with us.
Location:  We are less than 2 minutes from Interstate 81 Exit 17, next to the Virginia Creeper Trail. 2 hours from Asheville, NC, Knoxville TN, Roanoke, VA & Princeton WV. Nice tack and feed store, restaurants, and motels are less than 2 minutes from our place.

Facilities: "Little Ranch of the Sky" is just one block off major US Rte. 29 in beautiful Fauquier County. We are a small privately owned facility with overnight accommodations for your horses. Trailer electric and water hook-up is available in the paddock next to barn. Local lodgings are just 15 minutes to either Warrenton or Culpeper. We are 2 minutes to grocery, gas stations and restaurants.
The main barn has 6 spacious stalls, some with windows and some with sky lights. There are also 2 standing stalls. The 90' x 100' outdoor lighted arena has a bluestone/sand base with a small barn attached. A turn-out paddock is available

Location:  From Washington DC: From Beltway 495 take I-66 west towards Front Royal. Take US Rte. 29 south towards Charlottesville/Culpeper. By-pass Warrenton - go through Opal staying on US 29 for 1 1/2 miles. Take right onto O'Keefe Rd. (Rte. 786/661), bear left - take second driveway on left. From Richmond: Take I-95 north to Rte. 17 exit towards Warrenton. At Bealeton go left on Rte. 28. Go approximately 2 miles to the Rte. 28/29 junction. Turn right on Rte. 29 for 1 mile to O'Keefe Rd. on left.
From Greensboro, NC: Come north on US Rte. 29 all the way. We are 15 minutes north of Culpeper. O'Keefe Rd. is 1 mile from the Rte. 28/29 intersection on the left.

Facilities: We are a 30.5 acre farm with a large 10 stall barn with modern 12' x 12' box stalls with rubber matted floors and sliding doors with bars on the windows. 60' oak board round pen and large 125' x 200' outdoor riding ring. We have a wash stall and 3 cross tie areas. Our farm has an easy access entrance for transports and campers. Fees are $30.00 per horse per day pasture or stall with shavings included. This exit has a shopping area that includes Wal-Mart, Lowes, and Tractor Supply, along with several motels and restaurants. We are 110 miles N. E. of Knoxville, Tennessee; 150 miles S.W. of Roanoke, Virginia; and 60 miles N. of Ashville, North Carolina.

All stalls have Likits, salt and mineral licks. Electrical hookup and water is available for trailer parking next to barn. Nearby Best Western motel offers discounts to travelers leaving their horses with us, they accept dogs, and they're within a short walk to a great, home cooking style restaurant. I will gladly help update clients' horses that are traveling with you by e-mailing them pictures of their horse(s). Little added touch to comfort them while their horse is traveling. I’m sure the owners will appreciate it.
