Comments: (5/12/08) - "Julie and Wayne had just gotten back from vacation but went right outside to prepare for our arrival when I called from the road. The beds for the humans were wonderful! Slept like rocks. It was really nice to get up and go feed in the morning and then come in for a hot shower and coffee. I appreciate people like Julie that open up their homes to people traveling with Equine - it's a piece of mind finding a safe resting place for all involved.". . .(6/56/08) - "Julie is a great host. The stalls were large covered pens that the horses could stretch and relax in. Very nice. Easy to find with the directions, close to the interstate. Safe and clean faciilites. Would definitely stay again and also Julie makes great coffee! Thanks."

The food they have in their restaurant is by far the best in the town. (Editor's Comments: Due to the large amount of feedback we have received on this facility, all of it positive, for space considerations, we've posted only the more recent comments. We thank everybody who has sent in so many nice comments). Comments: (10/2/03) - "The facility is perfect - immaculate, large stalls, "human" rooms are gorgeous and well appointed. The breakfast spread prepared by Mrs. Johnson could have fed 10 instead of us three women. Breakfast burritos, bacon, sausage, hot peach cobbler, fresh fruit, etc., etc. Absolutely wonderful all around. . . . would highly recommend them.". . . (8/2/04)- "This place was wonderful! My mare was more-than-comfortable in her stall, and my husband and I were given an equally royal treatment at the house. We had great conversation with them and hated to leave the next morning. Theron and Jane are very knowlegeble horse people and wonderful hosts. The 'people' lodgings were very spacious, welcoming, and clean, with a separate entrance in case you needed to leave early, or check on the horses in the night. Smart! The sleeping acommodations were immaculately clean, very comfortable & private. The breakfast was this huge feast with something to please even the "pickiest" of palates. There had been a lot of rain so the outdoor arena and pens were too muddy to let him loose for awhile. The house is huge, the guest rooms were immaculate and decorated very nicely. Exactly as the website shows. They not only fed us a great breakfast, but also included us for dinner with their family. Mrs Johnson is a wonderful lady and has the energy of 10 (at least)! Loved it and have already recommended it highly."

Comments: (9/2/02) - "We stayed with Tim & Carol and couldn't have been happier. The facility was even better than described, and the bunkhouse where we stayed the night was wonderful. They had all sorts of stuff ready for our stay...snacks, movies, puzzles, video games, There was more food than we could eat. I felt at home with them and my filly had a very relaxing night for her long haul the next morning. I will definitely stay with them if I'm ever in their area. I highly recommend this facility to anyone that wants security, hospitality, and just over all a good place to stay. AAA+++". . . (2/15/04) - ". . .Tim and Carol were very friendly and accommodating. We parked right in front of the barn and there was enought light for me to peak in at the horses at 3:00 AM. The stalls are wood, very large well bedded and clean. They have room for the horses to move around after a long day in the trailer. There was water right in the barn close to the stalls, that was very nice at 3:00 AM and in pajamas. . . . They have a bunk house that looked very cute. But we stayed in our camper. On our return trip we got a late start and didn't get in until 11:00 PM. We called ahead to tell them that we would be late. They left a light on for us!!!". . . (7/11/05) - "Our family can't say enough about this place, we absolutely loved our layover there. Carol and Tim greeted us so warmly even though it was 1:00 a.m.in the morning. The barn is immaculate and the bunk house is so much better then any hotel we have ever stayed in. We only wish we could have stayed longer. While we slept the next morning, Tim watered our gelding. These are fine people and have a wonderful place to stay over.A very fond memory and would love to stay longer next time.". . .(8/3/06) - "I would HIGHLY recommend this Bed & Board Ranch. It's owned by a wonderful couple Tim and Carol McLaughlin. The horse accommodations were comfy and clean, but the "people" accommodations were such a treat after a long day. They call it "the bunkhouse," but it's a cabin that is wonderfully accommodating-down to the beautiful antiques in the Shamrock bedroom!! Carol has thought of every possible thing to make the stay comfortable and like "Home." It had books, TV's, VCR's, movies, Horse Magazines, CD's of various kinds of music. She stocked the kitchen with all kinds of food, fresh fruit, and snacks. . . .They own 70+ acres and have a big old style barn that has been refinished. There's an arena out back and ponds if you want to go fishing. They have everyone's dream Horse (and Owner)Motel. 5 stars/thumbs way up -- MAKE PLANS TO GO HERE!!!*****". . .(2/1/07) - "This is the cleanest, best maintained stable I have ever used from Memphis and Chattanoog, to Chicago and Nebraska. Tim and Carol Mclaughlin are great people--thoughtful, intuitive and fun.
