(9/1/23) - "Seriously a great facility! These folks are great and extremely knowledgeable! Great to be around and I know my horses are safe here!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!". . . (9/2/23) - "This place is very clean, big stalls, easy parking. Cute cows, portapotty and nestled between the mountains for beautiful stargazing. Lovely, lovely. Very nice barn kitties too!". . . (5/15/24) - "Staying at Hood's was fantastic! Their barn was immaculate and the stalls were incredibly spacious. Access to water was right outside the barn and easy to get to. Shavings and clean-out were included in the per stall cost which enabled us to get on the road earlier than we expected. Plus, the area was absolutely gorgeous!"

Comments: (3/18/23) - "Lovely facility, right off I-90. Clean safe stalls, friendly hosts and convenient when needing a layover. They had lots of different affordable option for pens where some could stay together or in separate stalls. The owners were great with communication and very accommodating for a later arrival. I would highly recommend.". . . (9/1/23) - "Very quiet, private facility off I-90 with amazing mountain views. Stalls are clean and hosts were very accommodating. Easy access and turn around. We stayed in there camp area which was beautiful with bar lights strung in the trees and enjoyed a campfire.". . .

Comments: *12/14/22) - "Other than a very icy driveway and parking area that could have been better lit, it was exactly as represented. Our host was friendly and helpful and offered to give morning feed so we could get an extra hour of sleep. I recommend.". . . (9/10/23) - "This layover was great. I was very pleased. We chose the outdoor pens which are covered. Auto water. and big enough that I put 2 horses in them. I had a level spot to park and plug into the 30 amp electric. I will stay here again. The hosts are wonderful people.". . . (10/6/23) - "There are no words to express how extraordinarily helpful this facility has been in our time of need. I had to be taken by ambulance to Billings with 8 fractured ribs. My husband arrived at the facilty with the horse and trailer. He had to rush to the hospital. They unloaded our horse and took care of her during our entire stay. Butch and a friend of his helped my husband replace brakes on our truck so we could drive home and were generous in their fees and payment but most of all offered much needed emotional support for my husband. There is absolutely no way words can convery how grateful I am and how much it has helped with my recovery. Thank-you.". . . (5/8/24) - "The facility is close to the highway and easy to find as long as you don’t follow Google Maps directions. For whatever reason Google Maps directs you to the neighborhood behind the Equine Motel. This could be a problem for big rigs. The staff warned me ahead of time so it wasn't a problem for me. The corrals/stalls were clean and secure. The staff was very helpful and the RV parking was level and close to the stalls. The place was quiet and services were close enough that I rode my horse there for food and coffee. My only complaint was the water tanks were dirty and had lots of algae in them. My horse wouldn’t drink from them so I provided her a bucket with fresh water. I suspect the dirty tanks were the result of being early in the season and an early opening. I would recommend and would stay here again.". . . (10/4/24) - "I can highly recommend a stay at the Box T Ranch. Very easy to find and close to Hwy. 90 with a good gas station and mini mart to fill up before heading back on your journey. I slept in an apartment in the barn close to my horse. The apartment had a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom with a shower at less than half the price of a hotel. The hosts were welcoming and gracious. I would definitely stay again if I pass through the area."

Comments: (11/7/18) - "Great place with a wonderful view over Cascade and the valley. The horses had access to a large pasture to stretch their legs, which I very much appreciated. Smaller corrals also available. Lovely owners. I will return.". . . (11/26/19) - "This was an amazing place to stay. Brand new and the stalls were very big and had a walk out. Kelly and her husband are awesome hosts. Upon our arrival they greeted us, helped us unload and allowed our horses to run around their ring to stretch their legs. They also fed the horses in the morning so we could get some much needed R&R. I will be staying here again and recommend anyone heading north or south to look them up. Thanks.". . . (3/28/21) - "Kelly and Ken go above and beyond to make sure your horse is safe, comfortable and secure. The stalls are very clean, there is a nice run out the back of each stall, and the fencing is solid and secure. Super easy to find off the highway and close to the town of Cascade. Have used twice, will use again. Thank you!". . . (8/3/21) - "Highly recommend the Paard Yard in Cascade, MT. Beautiful views and great hospitality. I arrived late and the owners still greeted us! I had gotten stuck in the gas station (gas stations are super far apart out there and I was almost on E) and called them to let them know I was close but couldn't really see and was trying to squeeze my LQ into the gas station. They were really close to the gas station and they found me at the bottom of their road and were super nice and directed us up to their farm. Helped me park in the dark, and helped me hook-up. In daylight they have beautiful views, some ride out and a ring. They also offered stalls or a small field/pen. We will be back due to their hospitality and friendliness. Made it feel like home away from home.". . . (11/29/21) - "WOW ...♥ What a stunning place with wonderful people who are really taking care of everything for our stay; horses were so relaxed and happy. It melts my heart to see them like that!!!!! The view was breathtaking ..... Kelly and Ken were so wonderful in everyway that we didn't want to leave! We were spoiled!!!! We are gonna come back for riding next time because now we call this place OUR HORSE MOTEL PARADISE 🐎🐎💖💖"

Comments: (7/22/24) - "Leah is an exceptional host. She offered to feed our horses while we toured Glazier National Park. Beautiful mountain view’s from the farm, quiet and relaxed for people and horses. 50 amp hook ups for our LQ and nice large paddock for the horses with horse no climb fencing. Highly recommend!". . . (9/4/24) - "Nice clean place with great views. Leah is a great host. Let the dog out during the day when not riding. Great location.". . . (9/28/24) - "Absolutely fantastic host. Wonderful facility. Not sure who was happier, myself or my horses. It was one of those places that was hard to leave. Leah is a fantastic host. Accommodating and knowledgeable of the entire area. She made my stay top notch."

Comments: "Easy access to freeway, close to hotel and restaurant. Nice arena.". . . (8/2/09) - "High price for minimum value. Yes, indoor stalls were very secure with good water. However, facility is right next to freeway with excessive road noise, all night. No bathrooms; no electrical hookup. As an emergency stop, it's fine; but we wouldn't stay again.". . . (7/29/10) - "Nice hosts and facility. Convieniently located immediatley off of interstate. Good accommodations, food, and fuel nearby. Only negative, my horse had an empty water bucket when I arrived the next morning. It would have been appreciated if his bucket level had been checked at some time while I was away.". . . (3/21/11) - "I have used this facility several times and been very happy. The location is good, the stalls and arena are nice. I would recommend it highly.". . . (10/19/19) - "Very convenient location right off the freeway, nice big stalls with lots of bedding, and an arena for them to be walked or roll in. Kayo was very friendly and helpful. Town is very close with several restaurants as well, or hotels if you need one; we stayed in our trailer. Highly recommend!". . . (11/5/21) - "Convenient to I-90 and town. Transporting two weanling fillies to Kentucky. Owner waited for our arrival and helped put the babies up for the night."

Comments: (1/14/22) - "Shirley was a top notch host! She was incredibly welcoming and highly communicative. I'd recommend this stay to absolutely anyone!". . . (7/24/22) - "Shirley is a great host. It has a million dollar view of the Madison Valley. The Madison is world class fishing. Close to Yellowstone National Park for day trips.". . . (7/18/23) - "Shirley is a great host. I was unfortunate enough to get hurt while riding in Yellowstone. Shirley went out of her way to make sure that my horse and I had what we needed and was overall a great host. She even helped me find someplace close to move while I waited for family to help me make the long trip home. I have nothing but nice things to say about Shirley and the Ennis Horse Motel. I'd stay there again and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to ride at or around Yellowstone.". . . (8/11/23) - "Shirley is a great host!"

Comments: (9/17/19) - "Rick and Aneta were very friendly and accommodating. Big open area to park trailer, close to horses. Loved that we were so close to Livingston and Bozeman!". . . (9/22/19) - "We were there on 8-25-19 (2 trailers & 2 horses). Extremely easy access from I-90. Great location for larger rigs. Horses had very large, partially covered paddocks. We were parked near our horses with 15-amp electric & access to water. Highly recommend this facility if overnighting or spending a few days in the area.". . . (7/16/20) - "The owners were easy to work with and the horses had plenty of room to stretch their legs and enjoy a gorgeous Montana view. Electric and water for LQ's was available. We would definitely stay there again.". . . (7/19/20) - "Aneta was great to work with. They live right there and did evening and morning check for us. We met friends for a horse exchange at their place. Great facility. Google maps got us right to their door.". . . (7/9/21) - "Thank you Aneta and Rick for making our stay a wonderful adventure. We enjoyed your two little girls coming and visiting us. Thank you for the beautiful ride. We are home safe!". . . (6/12/22) - "It is clean, organized and phenomenally beautiful! Anita was readily available and set us up. We felt welcome and cared for. One of the best places we have stayed!". . . (5/22/23) - "I have overnighted with my horses a number of times at the Wineglass Ranch and every time it has been a great experience. Horse accommodations are excellent. Large, quality made, pipe pens with both inside shelter and outside runs. The water is top shelf and hay is available. There is a beautiful grassy area next to the barn where you can park living quarters trailers and a picnic table. Less than a mile away is a Murdoch's, Albertsons grocery store, gas and diesel as well as numerous places to eat. Wineglass sits back off the road far enough that it is totally private and I have no issue leaving my horses here when I need to go into town to resupply or eat. If you are planning to overnight in Livingston, the Wineglass is the best place place for you and your horses.". . . (7/5/23) - "I just want to thank you so much for having us for the PRCA rodeo for 3 nights. We got to rest, our horses rested sooo much!!! Aneta, if ya'all ever want to take a trip to Texas, we have an extra house and in-ground pool. Your family is welcome! Please come and stay! Thank you for the cowboy shower!! Merritt cried after it. We both needed a long, hot cleaning! It was the best in a month! Thanks again for your hospitality!! The Potter family.". . . (7/26/23) - "We used Wineglass Ranch as a home base to do a few day rides in the area. Its location worked perfectly for that as it is close to quite a few trails. The facility was clean and well kept and felt very relaxed. The owner was very friendly and helpful. She gave us recommendations for the area. It was a great trip and I definitely plan on staying here again in the future.". . . (9/25/23) - "The host was waiting for us on arrival and very helpful and kind. We were even allowed to camp in her hay barn when there were no hotel rooms available. Her facilities for my horse were comfortable and clean and the bathroom and shower were perfect for us. Definitely would recommend to other travelers with horses in tow.". . . (5/21/24) - "We overnighted on our way down to an AQHA show in Las Vegas and on very short notice on our way back. The facilities, the stalls, the trailer area, the outdoor arena and the hospitality are FABULOUS! Anita met us on the road to make sure we found the right place (very easy to find) she checked our horses for us that night and got up early and watered them all before our early departures. I would recommend WineGlass Ranch for any overnighting, staying a few days, or for a trail riding camp. The stalls are roomy with access to outdoor runs if desired. Thank you WineGlass Ranch for allowing us to 'pop in' and have a safe and secure place for us to keep our horses! Ryane B."

Comments: (9/11/21) - "Tristram was a lovely host. We stayed at Fairmont resort and hot springs that is 10 minutes from her ranch. Tristram even sent me photos the evening of and morning of our horses stay! She checked on him often to be sure he was settled in.". . . (10/9/22) - "The owner was there to meet me and get me parking right next to the barn and pen. I was able to plug into the 110 outlet in the barn. It is easy access from the freeway, but there is one fairly steep section of the road in. There is no gate for the property, but it is remote enough from the main road to be safe."

Comments: (2/6/19) - "Four other ladies and myself headed to Montana for a weekend getaway with friends and horses. Jim and Tammy's place was the perfect home base. Their place was sparkling clean, beds were comfortable, well stocked, and had a stunning view of the river. Jim is a fantastic host and was very easy to reach. Our horses had a big pasture with excellent fencing. We also had use of stalls if we needed them. Our last day there we rode out from the house and meandered along the beautiful Clark Fork river. Jim even came to our rescue when I had a dead truck battery. I'd rate this place 5 stars. We will be going back for sure.". . . (3/13/18) - "We were passing through Montana on our way to PA from WA. Our trip was not going as planned, I called Jim the same day we needed to be there. He plowed the driveway to accommodate our 26 foot truck with trailer. He had everything ready for us by the time we got there. The guest house was really warm and felt like home instead of a hotel. He waited for us to get the horses situated before he went inside even though it was late. If we ever come back through we will definitely be back to Trout Creek.". . . (9/25/20) - "Wonderful place to stay! The pasture was huge and well maintained. Human amenities were impeccable as well. Stunning location right on the river with amazing views. Friendly and welcoming host. Just an all together great place. Would love to stay again some time!". . . (7/31/23) - "My friends and I booked the Trout Creek Guest House & Horse Hotel with Jim & Tammy Alexander for our annual trip with our horses. Both Jim and Tammy couldn't have been more accommodating! They even lent our group their horse trailer so our friends did not have to use their LQ to pull horses to a trailhead approximately 45 minutes away. The ride from the facility led to the river and we were able to enjoy swimming with our horses. The guest house was very comfortable and the horse accommodations were excellent! I highly recommend the Trout Creek Guest House and Horse Hotel. We will be back again next year!". . . (2/5/24) - "Jim was amazing! The facility was perfect! The surrounding area is beautiful!! We really hope to find ourselves back in the area on a vacation instead of a work haul. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Price is super affordable."

Comments: (12/10/19) - "406 Arena was a fabulous place for our horses to layover! Clean, beautiful facility, easy to get to and friendly people. Will definitely stay there again!". . . (4/16/20) - "Traveling with 3 horses back to Canada. 406 is only a couple minutes off the highway. It's easy to get into with a big rig, lots of room to circle around and lot is in pretty good condition considering it's April. I arrived Easter Sunday during Covid-19 distancing. We talked via FB messaging so I knew where to go and what to expect. I had stayed on my way south one night in November. I met the owner at that time but used outdoor pens. There was an event going on at that time and the concession was open! Bonus. Due to distancing, this time I was the only one in the facility. I was allowed to turn my horses out into the arena supervised. Stalls were clean, water hose available, and the stalls were safe. I had arranged for a power hookup and was able to park right near the arena doors. There was a drop box to leave my payment. Bonus - gas prices were excellent at the 2 stations in Vaughn on the way out in the morning. It is also less than 2 hours from the border. Great for north and south bound travel. I will stay again.". . . (9/7/24) - "We overnighted at 406 Arena 9-6-24 with two horses. The facility was very clean and accessible. Jessica was super helpful and friendly. We dry camped on the grounds. We woke up to deer and buffalo grazing peacefully. We ate at Silver Spur Saloon about 3 minutes up the road. Fantastic food and service! This is our second stop at 406 and we will be coming again."

Comments: (7/31/17) - "We were planning an overnight and ended up staying 3 days. Stalls are small but sufficient. Wonderful trails into National Forest right from camp. They provide rental guided rides (2 to 6 hrs, group or private trips). Guides were so nice to invite us to join their ride or provide trail information. Best pictures of us together were taken by their photographer! Yep, I bought them!!! Great location for day trips into Yellowstone National Park. We would go back here!". . . (8/30/19) - "Excellent host and facility. Plenty of trails to explore, nightly small town rodeo nearby, small trailers available to rent for Yellowstone visits. Safe horse pens with water/elec/porta johns available. Good for short/longer stays.". . . (9/17/19) - "We arrived under different circumstances as the horse motel was full so they accommodated us up at the Ranch where the trail rides go out of. All staff up at the trail riding center were fabulous and helpful. The owner, Rex, was also very helpful and full of fun! Riding was across the street and abundant! We would come back to the Diamond P Ranch again!". . . (8/10/20) - "Great place to stay close to town of West Yellowstone. Super easy access. Corrals and arena. Corrals are small pens, 12' x 12', but you can also set up hot tape or your own panels. Also has a 60 acre pasture sometimes available. Water and electric hookups, too. Porta potties and garbage bins onsite. Summertime a local rodeo is down the road less than a mile. Also can ride out on to trails around the property into the forest.". . . (6/21/24) - "We loved the Diamond P Ranch. Rex and his wife, Denise, are awesome hosts. Rex personally pulled maps out and showed us where to ride. We rode on their property and in Yellowstone national park. Their ranch is 200 acres so you actually wouldn't have to leave to ride. We did 2 of their trails. They are also about 5 min from any trails in the national forest right there. They are maybe 10 min from the gates of west Yellowstone. You have to have a clean and hay free trailer which you can rent from diamond P for $40.00 a day. You also need a permit to ride in the park and Diamond P was happy to help us get those printed. The stalls and camp are clean. They don't have showers but they do have a port-a-potty and it is extremely clean. Don't miss out on Diamond P Ranch in west yellowstone."

Comments: (7/31/16) - "Loved our stay at Sun and Hills. Jen was super friendly and helpful - even met us to help us find her facilities. Great location between Whitefish and Kalispell with access to Glacier National Park and the town amenities. Lots of good riding in the area and access to trails from the facility.". . . (7/31/17) - "Jenn met us and led us into the farm. Horses had a large paddock with shelter and fresh water waiting. Our dogs had fun with her dogs and the horses were happy with her hay!! It never quit raining and Going to the Sun road in Glacier NP was not open due to late snows so we did not get to explore the area as planned but we enjoyed our stay.". . . (9/17/19) - "Jennifer Butler, the owner of Sun Hills, made our stay truly delightful! She was a great host, she took us on two trail rides including one inside Glacier National Park! She was always available if we needed information, and had a washer and dryer for us to use while at her property. She also has a RV septic dump site on property which was also helpful. Not really any riding from her location.". . . (7/24/22) - "Jennifer is a great host and the facilities are close to Whitefish and Glacier. It was a home away from home.". . . (9/10/22) - "My family stayed at Sun and Hills while attending an event at Rebecca Farms the first of September. We used a paddock for our two horses and dry-camped at Sun and Hills. The facility was impeccably clean and provided enough room for our rather large LQ to back up and turn around. Sun and Hills is approximately 15 minutes from Rebecca Farms and an easy commute. Jennifer is very knowledgeable about local trails and other places to trek to with your horses."
