They have been more than accommodating and have a convenient location to the park. We highly recommend them. When you come from GA to WY you are looking for someone you can trust with your horses and these people take good care of our horses. We plan to go back every year.". . .(7/23/08) - "My partner and I were scheduled to stay at the Stage Stop Horse Motel for a few nights of team roping at the Cody Nite Rodeo in late June 2008. Upon our arrival at the Horse Motel, our vehicle was struck by a local truck right in front of the Vail's facility. While there was damage to the truck (which at that point could not pull a trailer) and not to the trailer or horses, our purpose of our trip was clearly at risk. The Vail's immediately made sure we were well, the horses were not injured and then the two horses were properly and safely housed in 15' x 30' clean covered stalls. For the balance of the week, the Vail's provided transporation assistance to the rodeo grounds so we could rope. In the simplest terms, their facility and generous attitude saved our trip. We have nothing but the greatest of admiration and thanks to them for their professionalism, compassion and friendship. The "Positive" rating above does not begin to express our gratitude for having met them and to be able to stay at their facility (our horses think so too). The cabin facilities for my partner and I were excellent, attractive, clean and thoroughly comfortable. The bottom line is their facility (and the both of them) merit ratings that should be far more expansive than that shown. In short, without the Vail's, our roping adventure would have been a complete loss and disappointment.". . . (8/6/10) - "Great place, great hosts, Couldn't ask for more.". . . (2/12/12) - "I have stayed with Paul and Liz on many occasions and these are terrific people. I feel safe leaving for the afternoon to sightsee in town with no fear of leaving the horses unattended. As hosts, Paul and Liz have always made us feel welcome and they are wonderful. If you are traveling through Cody, this is the place to stay."

We've had the opportunity to see a large number of "horse hotels" as we've moved all over the country with the military and this facility is truly among the best we've seen anywhere. Comments: (8/15/07) - "Jodie, the owner, was wonderful! The stalls were perfect for our stay. We were transporting 3 BLM Mustangs to their new homes in Montana and needed secure stalls for them to rest after a long day. We could not have asked for a more perfect set up. The stalls were clean and she had fresh water out for them when we arrived. We stayed in the little cabin at the camp ground and it was great. Jodie loves horses and it really showed! We will stay there again.". . .(9/14/07) - "My husband and I pulled in there late one night and Jody met us and helped with the horses. The stalls were clean and Jody had clean water already for the horses. It was easy to get to and a nice place to park and sleep overnight. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.". . . (8/28/10) - "The owner of the facility was extremely friendly and helpful! I felt that my horse was well watched at night and the stalls and round pen were very well kept and ready for me and my horse when I arived.". . . (6/4/11) - "We had a great stay here. Despite arriving late I was warmly greeted and was able to get the site prepped for my horses. We were able to hook up our trailer right next to the horse corrals. Our plans had been considerably delayed, but I kept them informed every step of the way & was continually told "not to worry", there was space for us when we arrived. Upon arrival, they treated us like family with an open door. B&B accommodations were comfortable & private. Stable facilities were clean & comfortable. My horse had a stall with a very large-sized paddock that she could run-about throughout the night. It was wonderful to have such excersise for her after such long journey past, & a longer way to go!". . .(11/6/05) - "THE best layover we had traveling 2400 miles with three horses. You can't get lost finding this place. It has acess to food store, restaurants, and grain store all on one road. Big indoor arena, clean stalls. The room was very big and had it's own private bathroom. I love, love, love this set up. This is one place if I was traveling to Arizona for an Arabian show I would come back to; it was worth the extra money to stay there rather than in a hotel. Thank you, Diane and Pam."
