Comments: (7/14/02) - "Marlene is an excellent host, her facility is as represented and she cares about pleasing her guests. I would highly recommend her facility to anyone. It was a real pleasure to vacation with her and experience a new found friendship.". . .(10/1/02) - "We were traveling cross country and were quite pleased and relieved to find the stables at Black Forest to be so nice and the host so gracious. We would like to stay there again.. . . (5/4/07) - "It so nice to find such a great place to stay with the horses. Safe, friendly, modern and truly cool to hear the birds calling to each other. We will be back.". . . (6/30/09) - "Very nice accommodations. Our horses were well taken care of!". . . (6/2/14) - "We stayed here May 24, 2014. The owner, Marlene, went way out of her way to make our stay pleasant, comforable and top of the line. Wonderful large stall for the horse with nice bedding and a bucket of fresh clean water waiting at our arrival. She never even batted an eye when I called to make the reservation and asked if our 91# dog was welcome .. of course she was. We got lost and within a few short minutes she was on the road, located us and guided us to her place. Lovely rooms with all the luxuries of home and then some. If I'm in the area I will stay here again. 110% satifaction!". . . (5/29/16) - "Amazing overnight accommodations for me and my two horses as we travel from Alaska to Virginia. Great communication several weeks out from the trip, right up until we arrived later in the evening than expected. I'm traveling with a seasoned rodeo horse and my new two year old. For the baby this 4,700 mile trip has a ton of firsts. I LOVE the peacocks!! They're great for the horses and gorgeous to look at. Thank you so much for being so accommodating and having a GORGEOUS facility.". . . (5/24/17) - "The location I planned to board my horse for twelve nights ended up not adequate for my horse so I contacted Black Forest. Their response was immediate. I found their facility exceeded my expectations. Daily the staff cleaned my stall, fed feed and supplements, and even turned out my horse in a large available pasture. I was allowed to leave my trailer for the duration as well. I found the location very safe, accommodating and beautiful. Although I stayed with a friend elsewhere, I was free to come and go daily as I visited my horse. Due to the unpredictable and severe weather on my next route causing changes in my my itinerary I needed to stay on a day to day basis for several additional nights. The owner was most understanding and I never felt pressured to vacate. I highly recommend Black Forest and am very grateful for their excellent caretaking."

Comments: (4/27/11) - "I've stayed at Showtime many times enroute to Maryland or Florida. Pam's facility is easy to maneuver. I have overnighted in my trailer or in the hotel nearby. Great place and lots of areas to exercise horses.". . . (8/1/11) - "Both Pam and her son, made us feel more than welcome - we were so appreciative of the quality of the services provided that we put in extra hours on the road on our return home so we could stay with them again." . . . (7/20/15) - "Very easy to find and get to. Host warned us about route closures making our trip to their facility very easy. Nice place to stay!"
