This was our first and favorite stop along the way.", , , (5/22/10) - "The hosts were extremely friendly. Our horses loved the farm. They had pastures and a barn to themselves. The owners couldn't have been nicer or more helpful; clean facility and very accommodating. (10/25/10) - "We arrived late at night and Terrance and Joyce were very understanding, and some of the nicest people we've ever met. Water, grain and hay were readily available. A great place to stay!". . .(5/17/08) - "Besides the obvious in travel, it couldn't have been a closer feeling to being home for my horse. ALL stables were clean and sound, the owners were helpful and friendly, the area was scenic. If it were 20 miles out of my way in travel, it would be worth the jog. Thank you Kathy, Robin & kids!"

Comments: (9/23/09) - "We came to Granville, OH for the Fall Frolic. Diana was there to greet us and did everything to make us feel very comfortable. My husband and I stayed in a lovely room in her beautiful home for the nite. Infirmary Mound Park in Granville is a beautifully maintained Park to visit with your equine.". . . (10/23/09) - "I stayed at Carriage House B&B in September, 2009 to compete in a hunter pace hosted by Rocky Fork Headley Hunt. The B&B is easily accessible with good paved, well marked roads. I arrived much later than planned and was met by the host's friend standing at the end of the driveway waving a flashlight to make sure I didn't pass it up! The barn was spacious and well lit with a clean, inviting stall attached to a very small paddock for my mare's enjoyment. There was a nice wash stall had I needed it, and a wide aisle with conveniently placed cross ties and nearby water spigot. There was plenty of room to maneuver and park my trailer. The efficiency apartment in which I stayed was clean and comfortable, and apart from no bedside stand or light, was acceptable in every way. I had only asked for hot tea for breakfast, but Diana brought me not only a selection of teas but also cereal, yogurt and fruit, which were delicious and just right for a light, pre-ride breakfast. Diana is a helpful and genial host and the facility fulfilled my needs and expectations for an overnight stay with my horse.". . . (12/5/09) - "Diana was busy driving the carriage that night but had someone there to greet us and get us settled and then escort us to town where we got a wonderful carriage tour around the picturesque town all decked out for Christmas. A really wonderful stay. Best of the trip."

Comments:  (Editor's Comments: Due to the large amount of feedback we have received on this facility, all of it positive, we've posted only the more recent comments. We thank everybody who has sent in so many nice comments.)
(12/3/02) - "The hosts were extraordinary! They provided a wonderful equine arrangement. Although stalls were provided, we used the large well fenced paddock for our 3 horses. We could watch the horses from our room! Our original plan was to stay one night, but the accomodations were so wonderful we continued for 4 more! Actually our truck developed transmission trouble and ( the owners ) were wonderful in assisting us with a place to stay while the tranmission was being rebuilt. Their hospitality turned a very stressful time into a mini vacation! I highly recommend Surecare Farm for an overnight stay, it was easy to find and even though we arrived well after dark the lighting made it easy to unload and take care of the horses.". . . (7/16/03) - "We enjoyed an excellent stay over-nite with (the owners) ! They went above & beyond to provide accommodations for us, as I drove from NY, & my friends drove from Kansas City to swap horses. The farm & the room were lovely, the horses were comfortable & we were well rested! I recommend this facility to all, the *positive check* list needs superlatives to report our feelings!". . .(11/11/03) - "This was a great sleepover for both people and horses. It was an added treat to stay on the ranch and not have to unhook the trailer and find a people motel. Stalls were roomy, clean and safe and the hospitality of our hosts was exceptional. I'd drive a couple hours further or stop an hour earlier to use this ranch again!". . .(11/17/03) - "You could not ask for a better place to relax inbetween shows than Surecare Farm! We would definitely stay there again on our travels! It was easy excess off the main road with wonderful dinners in town and shopping close by for all your restocking needs from supplies to food.". . .(1/29/04) - "Wonderful people. The farm is easy to find and the economy apartment is is very comfortable. The stall was more than adequate for the 16.1 hand gelding I was transporting, safe, and clean. Thank you for making both of us (the horse and myself) welcome at your facility.". . .(8/12/04) - "I traveled from Pennsylvania to Colorado and this was my favorite stop. It was cozy and the horses were nearby to turn out and shelter combined. Most of all, getting to know {the owners} was great. They made the stay worthwhile.". . . (9/15/04) - "We just LOVED our stay at this farm! Like others have mentioned, it is SO comforting to peek out of your window and see that your horse is happy and safe after a long trip! Coming from the desert of Las Vegas, our horse LOVED the lush grass, and the large paddock area. Barb made an extra effort to make us feel welcome, and gave great advice on a place to eat in town. We really felt like we were "at home" and the apartment had everything we could have possibly needed!". . .(9/25/05) - "We had a great stay and our hosts were gracious even though we arrived much later than anticipated. Our horse was very comfortable and we slept well in our clean, comfortable room. We will certaintly return on our next trip.". . . (5/19/06) - "We have stayed at SureCare Farm twice now and we love it! Thanks for everything and keep up the great work.". . .(8/22/06) - "I travel across the country to the Parelli Learning Center in Pagosa Springs, Colorado from Pennsylvania and on my way undoubtedly my favorite spot to stop is Surecare Farm. The owners, Barb and Scott, are hospitable, extremely friendly and their quaint and clean overnight rooms are matched by the quiet ambiance and the facilities for the horses are very nice. I look forward to my visit year after year.". . .(8/22/07) - "Surecare is awesome! Scott and Barb run a great overnight, our horses did not want to get caught when it was time to leave, they liked it so much in the paddock. Cute, very quiet apartment to stay in with the horses just outside the window. Very easy to find from the highway too.". . .(8/23/07) - "Scott is a great host! It's easy to find and even though they had to make some special arrangements for us -- the horses were happy and comfortable and so were we! It'll be one of my regular stops on my annual trek.". . .(9/9/08) - "I stayed here to and from my trip to Nebraska. Barbara and Scott made me feel right at home the minute I pulled in the driveway. My horse loved rolling in the round pen after a long day in the trailer. Very clean and safe place to stay. You bring the stories and the jokes, Scott and Barb will bring the coffee.". . . (6/30/09) - "Barb and Scott were friendly and accommodating. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend them!". . . (9/29/09) - "I stayed at Surecare Farm for the 2nd year in row on my way to and from Nebraska. This year another rig followed me and there was no problem with Barb and Scott handling the 2nd rig. I won't elaborate but, once again, Barb and Scott went above and beyond. If I haul my Paint to Nebraska next year I'll surely stop at Surecare Farm. Thanks for everything, Barb and Scott.". . . (9/24/09) - "Scott and Barb were wonderful hosts and had prepared for our arrival. Their farm is beautiful and well maintained with plenty of space to manuever a big horse trailer. I stayed in their bungalow on the property and it was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend Surecare without hesitation to anyone traveling through Ohio with horses. Robert Frost, September 22, 2009.". . . (9/21/10) - "Safe, secure and easy to get to. Barbara and Scott are great hosts. Stop at Surecare Farm and you and your horse will love it.". . . (9/4/11) - "Barb and Scott were extremely friendly and made us feel right at home; there was plenty of room to park our trailer and easy in & out. The room/bathroom was bright and extremely clean. Would highly recommend this facility for layovers."
