Our breakfast was delicious; homemade muffins for the road. On the east bound trip we arrived at 11:15pm and were greeted upon arrival. A long night's rest followed by a wonderful breakfast and a mid morning departure. Our hosts were very accommodating. Their home is very comfortable. The food is excellent. I dont think we could find a better place to stay.". . .(2/15/05) - "Ruth and Guy are GREAT. Arrived at midnight and they had everything ready. Great house, barn and food!! The only thing is that there was a large amount of manure in one corner of the pasture, the driveway was nearly impossible to turn around in (we backed out) and lodging and food weren't very near by (20-30 minutes). Aunt Reba made a geat homestyle breakfast in the morning. We couldn't say enough good about the experience Attention to detail at it's finest!" . . . . (7/17/03) - "Absolutely Wonderful!! Could not ask for anything better. Reba is a great cook too! They are the type of people that you could be personal friends with forever. Fantastic company, wonderful place to stay. Wish I could have stayed longer. The stalls were large and secure. Though my two guys opted for staying outside all night. My dogs loved the stall. Breakfast was made to order. Comfortable accommodations. We all felt very secure and welcome.". . . (9/22/06) - "Reba's facility was very accessible from the highway and easy to manuver our big truck and trailer around. Reba was very helpful and friendly with directions, unloading and set-up. The overnight stay was warm and comfortable after our long journey in bad weather. The three horses we brought were very comfortable, safe and well cared for. They all rested well in very comfortably large stalls. It was an excellent overnight stop with great hospitality that cared for both ourselves and the horses' safety and rest. We appreciate the help and care and will definitly be calling again the next time we pass through Iowa. Thanks Reba! The coffee was great and the horses say thanks for the apples and cookies. Thanks so much.". . .(1/23/07) - "Highly recommend. Thank you for letting us bring our dogs into your beautiful room. It made traveling much less stressfull !! They gave perfect directions to save us time and were waiting when we arrived. Reba and Rich were so nice. They knew we were tired and give out from the previous two days. After we got the horses unloaded and tended to. Reba said come in and have dinner with us. We graciously accepted and had a wonderful meal. This was just what the doctor ordered. If you need a layover in this area, this is the place to stop. They have an adequate barn and a well fenced and secured pasture next to the barn. The pasture was a God send. After spending close to 30 hours in the trailer in two daysit was great to turn the horses out, let them roll and stretch."

Best of luck to Mary & Tim.". . .(6/19/07) - "Tim Smith advised us to call about an hour prior to arrival. He was at the ranch gate when we drove up. He got us parked and settled in. Super nice man. EXCELLENT horse care. Our horses were in 100' x 100' ft nicely fenced grass lots. Very safe and secure. Just a quiet country farm setting, litterally 2 minutes off the freeway. We'll stay there again !!"
