The stall was ready with fresh shavings and everything.". . .(9/20/03) - "Hosts Shelly & Glen were the best!! They kindly welcomed my horses, my dog, and myself after 3 in the morning. Their hay was wonderful and their facilities provided a safe haven for the horses to rest and replenish. This was a wonderful peacefull spot and also had lodging seconds away for the humans. Comments: (9/21/07) - "Cathy was extremely helpful to us. Providing directions to the local trailer manufacturer for repairs, and also our hotel. After a 20+ hour haul, the horses were able to stretch their legs in the secure arena, and the stalls were bedded and ready for use. Couldn't have been happier and highly recommend."

Comments: (8/29/06) - ". . . The facility was beautiful. VERY Clean! Our host was friendly too. They had a nice smaller indoor arena that we were able to let our horses stretch their legs. The stalls were large, open & safe. I just wish this facility was closer to the main freeway. . . . I would stay here again."

Carol is a super person. Her facility is fantastic and I was totally at ease leaving my horses there. I would definitely stay there again and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone traveling through Idaho. Comments: (3/5/07) - "Great place. The hosts, Shelly & John, went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay with them perfect. We completely enjoyed going to Lava Hot Springs for a soak, and our horses were in nice clean pens, during our stay. The hosts had water for our horses all ready for us when we arrived and were VERY helpful and paid great attention to our needs. We will plan on overnighting with them again next year.". . .(6/8/08) - "Our hosts were wonderful, helped us find lodging for our family and took excellent care of our horses. We're fairly new horse owners and this was our first "long haul" trip experience with our horses. John and Shelly made our experience positive and were very reassuring. They were even very understanding and accommodating when our arrival was much later than planned (although I would make every effort not to test their kindness and generosity to such an extent again.) Ditto to the previous horse owner's comments. Everything was clean and wonderful. Our horses endured a long and gruelling trip over the mountain passes of Wyoming. It was such a good break for them. We recommend J & S Ranch very highly and plan to overnight our remaining two horses in Lava Hot Springs when we move them. Thanks again John and Shelly!"
