Comments:  (3/3/21) - "I had a nice visit with Sid Fremen, the owner. Sid just bought the place a year ago and the work he’s done since then is amazing. He has box stalls and paddocks available for horses and a bunkhouse right beside the horses for humans. Plans for a 20 horse barn are in the works so keep an eye on updates to his listing as time goes by. His place is convenient to I-10 and he has plenty of room for big rigs.". . . (1/29/22) - "Stalls were extremely unsafe- very low ceilings, made of old roofing tin. Dangerous. We elected not to stay. The owner was a nice guy but that doesnt help when its 8:00 pm and ur scrambling to find a place. Also any rig bigger then 4 horse won't get in driveway. At least not easily. But the biggest factor was the significant safety issues."

Comments: (3/23/16) - "Conveniently located off I-12, just one exit from many hotels and restaurants. Clean, dry stalls. We have stayed with Sandi twice (so far) and always arrive late at night. She leaves the lights on, the stalls have fresh shavings, and the waters are filled. We will definitely return."

Comments: (6/14/07) - "Cypress Creek is a wonderful horse hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Talton were very friendly and helpful. Mrs. Talton spoke with us several times on the phone before our arrival and even met us in her vehicle and guided us in. The stalls were very clean and roomy. After traveling 14 hours the day before our horse didn't want to get on the trailer for another day of travel; Mr. Talton was a big help loading our horse. I would recommend Cyress Creek to anyone traveling.". . .(11/9/08) - "Georgeous Place! Easy to get to, easy to get the big trailer in and out! Very nice barn. Billy Jack and Carolyn are THE nicest people! Very friendly and even stayed up late waiting for us. Nice quiet and safe place.". . . (8/17/10) - "What gracious and respectful hosts. Beautiful facility, restful and safe. Thankyou for a positive experience on a very long journey!". . . (7/25/13) - "The owners were very helpful and allowed us to use their round pen instead of stalls. Their own horses were just beautiful. Very convenient to the interstate, motels, and restaurants. There is a steep hill to go down, but our six horse trailer and gas engine truck managed it fine.". . . (7/25/13) - "Wonderful hosts! Checked on or horses for us so we could get some rest. Highly recommended.". . . (3/22/17) - "This is a supreme horse barn & highly recommended spot for a place for a layover or longer. Carolyn is a great caregiver no matter what breed of horse you have. I'd go back through Ruston just to have my horses spend a time at this gorgeous barn and the owner is so nice! I'm "picky" for the best place and this is at the top of the list.". . . (2/20/19) - "Wonderful, friendly people. Great, safe barn. They checked on my horse for me late that night so that I didn't need to return later that night. Our horse was very comfortable in the beautiful, clean barn and I was very comfortable leaving him there overnight. Great place to stay!! Highly recommend!!". . . (11/1819) - "We contacted Carolyn at the last minute after a very long, 3 day haul. She was able to accommodate us at her beautiful farm. The barn was in perfect condition and Carolyn was very kind and helpful. This is a wonderful and safe place to board your horse.". . . (12/10/19) - "Very nice and safe facility, their house over looks the barn and is very well lit. Owners met us at the top of their road to show us to the barn, true southern hospitality. Our horses greatly appreciated the larger foaling size stall available.". . . (9/3/21) - "WOW WOW WOW! These people are amazing! My husband was broke down and they picked up my horse and trailer in the heat of the summer and brought her to safety, caring for her while his truck was fixed. We will always stay here when we come through. The place is fabulous and the owners really go out of their way ♥ Amazing 🤩.". . . (1/11/22) - "Beautiful, well kept barn; so clean it smelled fresh. Spacious stalls, easy to locate. We have a big rig and had plenty of room to manoeuvre in and out. Highly recommend to everyone!!". . . (3/1/22) - "We stayed at Cypress Creek Farm for one night and had a great experience. The host, Carolyn, was at the property when we arrived and was incredibly nice and helpful. The facility is very clean and was large enough with solid ground to maneuver our 38ft trailer. The stalls are in great condition and the horses had plenty of room to rest after the long drive. We stayed at a Sleep Inn a few miles away in Ruston where there are plenty of hotel and food options. While the hotel was very convenient, hopefully next time we can stay onsite as Carolyn mentioned that she has a cabin onsite that will soon be available for guests. My husband and I have made this drive a few times but this was our first time staying at Cypress Creek Farm. I can say this was the BEST experience we have had. We are looking forward to staying here on future trips. Highly Recommend!". . . (4/17/22) - "Beautiful facility only 5 minutes from any store. The host was super sweet and accommodating and met us by the gate upon arriving. The barn was very clean, the stalls were large and there was plenty of space to turn around our trailer. I would definitely stay again next time we are traveling!". . . (7/19/22) - "Absolutely the nicest overnight facility I have ever stayed in! The hosts were spectacular, the facility was beautiful and easy to find and my ponies were treated like royalty. Highly recommend!"

Comments: (6/14/22) - "What a wonderful facility it was; very easy accessible and very accommodating for a big trailer. The stalls were huge and ready for the horses as soon as we got there. They also had super nice turnouts connected to them. Lisa and David were extremely helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back!". . . (3/5/23) - "Reposo Farm and Feed is a great overnight place for travelers with horses. Lisa is so accommodating! Do go slow when approaching Robert Willie to swing wide to make the turn! Will be back!":

Comments: (11/16/16) "Great place to stop! The stalls were very large and the attached paddock was huge. We were extremely pleased our horses had so much room to stretch out after our long trip. We arrived at 4:00am & lights were on for us & stalls were ready with two full water buckets. We will definitely stop here again.". . . (12/20/16) - "Oversized stall with turnout in a lovely, clean barn. Easy access. Quiet and secure. (Editor's Comments): Due to the large amount of feedback we have received on this facility, all of it positive, we've posted only the more recent comments. We thank everybody who has sent in so many nice comments.
(3/13/18) - "What a beautiful facility. The barn is beautiful and very secure. Close by hotels and restaurants and even New Orleans. We will stay with them again!!! Super stay!!!". . . (3/26/18) - "This was our second visit and it was as great as the first. We woke up to a flat tire on the horse trailer and had some trouble with a stripped lug nut. The host brought us different tools to try and remove the lug but we ended up running out to a local tire place to get it removed. We put the spare on but the tire place didn't have trailer tires so we were going to start home and stop somewhere along the way for a spare but the host took his spare off of his trailer so we wouldn't have to worry! How awesome! Then as the bonus we got to bottle feed two of their baby goats! We can't wait for another visit !!!". . . (3/26/18) - "What a beautiful place and super nice hosts. Our stalls were big, clean and ready upon arrival. This is so convenient to I-10, easy to get in and out even with a huge rig. We had power for our RV. Definitely will be staying here again on our way to and from Florida.". . . (7/10/18) - "If you are passing through Louisiana, this is the place to stay! The accommodations and the staff are amazing! They went above and beyond for us and our horse. I highly recommend it!". . . (8/9/18) - "Jeannie and Jason took excellent care of our horses and us. Friendly and helpful, experienced horse people that accommodated every request. The facility was very clean and safe. Would recommend it to anyone who needs a place for their horses in this area.". . . (4/29/19) - "Clean and tidy with a great first impression with a gated entrance. The owners were quick to answer when we called and also called to check on our progress so they could prepare the stall. We will definitely stay again as it was close to our crossroads and a great halfway point for travelers running the Florida/Texas trips!". . . (11/3/21) - "Stunning barn. Our horses stayed in a grass arena for the night with minis and donkey friends coming and going. You can also stay in the beautiful barn. Nice bathroom and laundry, plus hook up. Good location.". . . (7/31/22) - "Amazing, friendly and helpful welcome from Kevin, the farm manager. Super clean facility and big stalls. Easy access from I-10. Will come back if I’m in the area again.". . . (11/21/22) - "Amazing hospitality and stellar facility. We truly wanted to linger longer! I plan to return and enjoy more, thank you for a great layover.". . . (3/7/23) - "Lovely property. Owners were so friendly and accommodating. 10/10."

Comments: (12/13/21) - "This is a great property with nice, big, clean stalls or a wonderful pasture area. Tracie and Mark were very accommodating to our horses and our needs. Would definitely stay here again if our travel plans have us in the area. Note: follow Tracie's directions and not phone maps, unless you want a twisty turny drive!". . . (12/12/22) - "I arrived at dusk and was greeted with friendly hosts. Hosts were very accommodating and showed me the grassy paddock for my horse, automatic waterer, the clean bathroom and shower, the washrack and hose area and also left the light on in the barn for me, so if I needed to find the bathroom at night it would be easier. I was able to park close to my horse and clean out my trailer using their neat and tidy manure pile. Property is gated for security overnight. Would highly recommend this horse hotel. Perfect 1/2 way spot between Texas and Florida.". . . (2/23/23) - "Super accommodating hosts who were very easy to work with. 30 and 50 amp available. Quiet place, really clean and orderly barn. Owners clearly take pride in their place! It was a snug fit but we didn't struggle getting our 40' rig in and out. Thanks for offering 2 Lazy 2 Stables up for overnight stops!"
