Comments: (7/17/15) - "Luke is very professional and welcoming. He really knows how to run his business. We will stop again. Horses rested really well there.". . . (9/20/15) - "We were traveling thru the area and not arriving until really late. He met us at the gate at 3 a.m. and had water and hay ready for our horses in two large stalls. We passed out in the trailer and when we got up the horses had been fed and watered and we were on the road again. They had a shower available in the lounge area that we took advantage of.". . . (8/9/16) - "Charles was great; facilty was clean and easy to get in and out of. We will stay there again.". . . (7/23/17) - "This is a fantastic barn to stay at. I was running later than desired due to several issues but the barn manager, Terry, was very nice and waited for me. Once my horse was in a nicely sized stall, I was provided with the location and hours of the local Auto Zone to check on my truck problems and allowed to drop my trailer. Pickup the next morning was very easy. Will stop here again if I have to go through the area.". . . (10/28/18) - "A very nice and clean facility. Chris greeted us upon arrival and was very helpful. The facility is well lit with great parking for our motor coach and large trailer. I would definitely stay there again when passing through Kansas.". . . (12/12/18) - "We were met with incredible hospitality and a very helpful staff member. I loved the stalls and the barns were very warm and insulated from a cold night. We plugged in our RV and it was super easy to be at the farm. Two thumbs up!!!". . . (6/28/19) - "Chris was a good host, and this was a comfortable place to stop with our horses. We stayed there two times in June 2019, both on the way out and on the way back from Bryce Canyon. Two of the three trailers in our group used the electric hookups. We would choose to stay here again if back in the area."

(9/29/13) - "Wayne & Julie were wonderful hosts and were warm and inviting to humans and horses (and even our dogs). We went on a 3 week trip and spent 10 days at various locations for overnight stops and found this was our most comfortable, inviting, and all around best stop on our long days on the road. Wayne greeted us as soon as we turned into the drive and made sure our horses were happy and our rig was ready for the night before he thought of leaving us to rest. Julie soon arrived to answer any questions we had on local markets or food. Both of them (and their dog "Max") greeted us like old friends even though this was our first time at their beautiful farm. We would go back to this locale on any trip through there. Please consider this place a very good stop on your trip through Kansas. Ed & Sue Black.". . . (5/28/14) - "Beautiful place and wonderful accommodations. They went over and above making sure that we had breakfast and food; the night before drinks. movies...etc. Very sweet and caring. When our horse was an idiot and wouldn't get off the trailer she came over and helped ... thank you.". . . (11/1/14) - "This was an awesome lay over for us. The horse location was more than adequate, neat, clean and well lit for our after dark arrival. The owners were more than gracious to work with our travelling plans. We were thrilled to be able to stay on the property with the horse with seperate quarters for us. It was like being at home; well stocked kitchen and the entire living area was neat and clean. Very relaxing after a long day of travel. The separate entrance made it easy to check on the horse also. Kind, friendly and knowledgeable owners. Highly recommend this facility.". . . (4/12/15) - "Very good stop. Highly recommend and hope to use it again. Liked the convenience, secure setting, easy access and nice apartment to rent as an option. Handy for a quick load and departure in the morning. March 2015". . . (6/2/15) - "Julie was a superb host. Her farm was super easy to get to off of I-70 and had amply sized paddocks for the horses and very clean water. She arranged it so my three were all together, which made the horses relaxed and happy. The Bed and Breakfast accommodations she had were lovely. A very attractively arranged separate area with kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and bathroom; the set up was almost like home! We also took her up on her suggestion and drove about two miles to the small town of Chapman to eat dinner, and enjoyed meeting a very friendly number of locals who gave us a warm welcome and excellent dinner. Highly recommend Pretty Horses as a stop!". . . (2/27/16) - "Very nice friendly, felt good about leaving my horse there. Good service. Little drive to hotel but not too bad. Road to barn is dusty. Large turnaround. This was one of my favorite layovers out of a 4 night trip with my horse.". . . (7/31/17) - "Clean, convienent and comfortable with nice attention to detail for owners and horses. Easy circle driveway, large indoor outdoor runs, and great host. We'll definitely stay again when traveling through KS.". . . (1/29/18) - "Great place to stop! Happy horses! Secure, clean, safe stalls and runs for horses. Affordable. Nice hostess. Met us in the dark on a cold night to direct us in. We will definitely stop again if we are in the area.". . . (9/12/18) - "Julie is awesome. She helped getting settled in with horse and rider. Friendly, clean, great accommodations. Plenty of hook up and stalls. Stayed there on my way to and from my destinations.". . . (7/3/19) - "This was a great stop for my tired horses. The facilities were very clean and the owners were friendly and professional.". . . (7/21/19) - "Excellent place to stay overnight! Excellent horse facilities and Jacob was very friendly and helpful! Thank you!". . . (10/5/20) - "I've boarded horses over night here on 2 separate occasions! I've been extremely happy both times. The runs are extremely clean and well cared for and the owners are awesome and friendly! This is for sure a saved spot for the future."

(2/6/09) - "Our stay with Theron and Jane was great. Jane provided us with the best breakfast, accommodations, and hospitality we have experienced in all of our travels. Our horses were taken care of with excellent accommodations.". . . (7/10/09) - "Jane is about the best hostess you could ask for-very helpful with a cholicy mare, great accommodations, and a breakfast that will get you ready to hit the road. SUPER!". . . (3/18/10) - ""Magical" We are in love with this place! Driving west from Kentucky with our 17HD ThBr. We stopped for the night at Tin Acres. 1 night turned into 3.The facility was wonderful, the people were fantastic. Theron is a fountain of knowledge, Jane a bouquet of love, EJ, Jessica, and Andy were so helpful, friendly and kind I can't say enough. Remy had a great stall and lots of time in the arena. We not only had a relaxing stay we learned so much, it was PERFECT. We'll be back.". . . (9/30/10) - "This was our third and fourth stay at TinAcres and Jane does not disappoint! The stalls are large and comfortable, the hostess is lovely and the "bed and breakfast" aspect is wonderful. Great to be able to stay onsite- comfortable and good to know your horse is being watched by video.". . . (8/29/11) - "Jane and Theron's Farm is one of our favorite stops on our trips to and from Montana. Super nice and clean rooms and a breakfast you will not forget! Pet friendly, great hosts, shopping and dining within 10 miles. Highly recommended.". . . (9/4/11) - "This was our favorite stay out of 4 fantastic barns on our cross country venture. Jane and Therin were extremely accommodating and we felt right at home in their beautiful house. Even though we insisted on a small breakfast Jane put out a spread with jams, breads, wonderful fruits and lots of good coffee. The house was incredibly comfortable, quiet and relaxing. Our horse was very happy in a large turnout and the stalls were very spacious. We enjoyed the company of their dog and the goats. Phenomenal stay, would highly recommend!" . . . (11/14/12 - "What a wonderful place! My horses enjoyed the large stalls and deep bedding. We enjoyed one heckuva breakfast and stayed in some truly beautiful rooms!". . . (10/13/13) - "Traveling thru with three old timers headed to pasture, and once again, Jane Johnson put out a great welcome with a beautiful room for humans and nice clean stalls for horses. We have stayed with Jane many times in the last several years and she never disappoints! Her place is just the best, folks, you can never go wrong staying at Tin Acres QH Ranch! She has the best facilities for horse and human there are and she is a total Angel! We even stay with Jane when we are just passing thru with NO horses! Tin Acres is the best, if you are near there and need to stop, travel no farther! Thanks Jane!". . . (4/8/14) - "Our stay with Jane during a trip from PA to CO in March 2014 was excellent. She did everything to make it special. The horse accommodations were great and they were able to relax and stretch out. Our accommodations were also as relaxing. By the way, the breakfast was to die for! We unexpectidly had to stay an extra day due to weather and Jane was more than happy to accommodate us. We plan to make this our stop on the way back home later this year.". . . (7/6/14) - "Very convenient and right on KS Hwy. 25. Has power available for hook up and bath facilities are available in the barn. I would not hesitate to stay again. The location is about 8 miles from Colby.". . . (3/18/15) - "Jane is the best!! I have been overnighting here for over 15 years. We have had loads of a couple horses up to ten horses. She has always been very accommodating...and the breakfasts are as good as any four star hotel. We plan our trips around staying at Tin Acres just to see Jane now !!". . . (7/14/17) - "The absolutely best horse hotel I have ever stayed at. Immaculate barn felt like home.". . . (3/23/20) - "Jane was an amazing host as always. When I lost my car keys she took care of me for an extra day and lent me her car to go pick up keys from the dealership. She was wonderful, accommodating, kind, and incredibly helpful. My horse loves how large and clean the stalls are. He always is comfortable enough to lie down and sleep at Jane's, unlike other overnights. Highly recommended.". . . (7/19/20) - "Jane is the most welcoming host! I have stayed here numerous times, have used her B & B(which is always clean and the food is delicious), her stalls are large with plenty of bedding, fresh water is waiting for the horses. Every time has been a wonderful experience!"

Comments: (11/11/15) - "I stabled my horse with them on Nov. 5, 2015. I was met by Rachel who checked that I had a current coggins and health papers before I was allowed to unload. I was able to turn my horse out into a round pen to walk around before putting her in a nice big box stall that was bedded well. Rachel lives on the property. The front gates are locked at night. I would stay here again. Very nice!!". . . (4/12/16) - "Awesome place! And Awesome staff!". . . (6/1/17) - "Wonderful staff! All smiles and wanted to help! Would definitly recommend them!". . . (10/17/20) - "We stayed one night there on October 3, 2020. We had 3 horses and their stalls were waiting for them with fresh bedding and water! A great place to overnight for the horses! I would highly recommend this place!"

Comments: (3/30/19) - "This was a wonderful place to stop on our way home. Our horse enjoyed running around in the large. secure arena and we hooked up to electric and water right next to where our horse was. They offered a stall in the barn if I wanted one. Easy to find, pull in and park our horse trailer on a large clean gravel lane in a well lit barn yard. We definitely will stop here again next time we are traveling through.". . . (10/8/19) - "Loved this facility! Super clean, nice big stall, lots of room and the friendliest, nicest hosts you could ask for. Would definitely stop again!". . . (8/5/20) - "Very nice place to stay, host was friendly and accommodating. Easy to get a bigger rig in and around. I would suggest not following GPS directions; ask host for directions. I would stay here again."

Comments: (7/24/16) - "Wow..what a facility!! Not a huge place but very conveniently located off the I-70. Very clean, large turn-around, and sleeping facility on site. We arrived late afternoon and was met by Eddie. He was very helpful and assisted with off-loading and gave us a tour of the facility and our room. We then got a quick run down of the local eateries. One of the nicest facilities we stayed at on our long trip from Ottawa Canada to Colorado and back. Very highly recommended to anyone travelling along the I-70 and needing a place to hold up for the night with you horse. To Eddie and Terri...great job on the barn...and I really like that the barn is on an "angle" unlike everyone else's in the area!!". . . (9/4/16) - "Terri was amazing. She accommodated us and was very friendly even in the middle of the night. We forgot to bring a power plug that would fit the power attachement and she was sweet enough to let us use her horse trailers power plug in. We were well cared for. Thank you so much.". . . (10/10/16) - "One of the best overnight places I've stayed at. Terri is a wonderful host and the facilities are beautiful. My horses were happy and safe.". . . (11/29/16) - "Terri and Eddie took every precaution while building this facility for horse safety and human comfort. Clean as you'll find and very handy!/easy to get to and easy to pull big rigs into.". . . (8/25/17) - "This is a great layover. Very convenient to I-70, clean, and safe. Restaurants and hotels were just a few miles away. The on-site lodging accommodations were very nice but we already has reservations in town. Terri was a great host and met us upon arrival and helped settle our horses in their stalls. I highly recommend SideonInn to anyone looking for a layover along I-70 in Kansas.". . . (9/1/17) - "I love this place! You will never find a more thoughtful or perfectly kept facility! The bunkhouse is beautiful and l loved being able to keep an eye on my horses and camel while staying there.". . . (10/9/17) - "We LOVED it! Ended up staying two nights to give horses a longer break on our cross-country trip. It was a mini vacation for us as well with our kids. Bunkrooms are not really bunks but really comfortable queen beds. Bathroom and kitchen is downstairs by the horses. We loved staying with the horses and riding in the nicely kept arena. Terri and Ed were very sweet and welcoming.". . . (6/29/18) - "Terri is absolutely wonderful and has a beautiful facility with many options from stalls to outdoor pens. The lounge area, showers and barn are always immaculate. We've stayed Roth her three times so far and highly recommend her place. Huge parking area, easy on and off the highway and close to fuel, food and Walmart.". . . (7/1/18) - "Terri couldn't have been more welcoming, helpful, gracious, concerned, and friendly. Great facilities; clean, safe. Super place to stop, with or without animals.". . . (10/7/18) - "Cleanest barn/facility we have stayed in. Traveling from Florida to Wyoming. Lovely people. Will come again next travel opportunity.". . . (5/11/19) - "Terri is wonderful and has been so great to us! She is easy to work with and has a wonderful facility to stop in at!". . . (6/5/19) - "My wife and I were totally satisfied with our stay, and the facility. Terri is an excellent host and is very knowledgeable and accommodating. We would definitely stay again, and we highly recommend her facility.". . . (6/18/19) - "I love staying at Teri's; it's my home away from home. I love that I get to stay in a nice place where I can look down on my horses from my room!. . . (6/30/19) - "Terri and her husband were amazing hosts. This facility is easy to get to, extremely clean, and comfortable. The bunk rooms are great, too! We will definitely stop there again on our next trip.". . . (10/22/19) - "I have stayed here with Terri twice now and both times it was FANTASTIC. Very safe, large, indoor stalls for my long footed show horses. Photographs on the horsemotel website don't do it justice. She has a shower as well which, for over night travelers, is a huge bonus. I would recommend anyone stay here.". . . (11/26/19) - "Beautiful facility. Very welcoming! Safe, secure pens and stalls. Wonderful people! Rooms and kitchen area were clean and very welcoming! Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again. Super easy access off the interstate.". . . (8/12/20) - "It's a little ways out of town, but that allows for a nice and quiet experience. About a 6 minute drive to local restaurants, it may appear far mileage wise, but if you're in a city, it'll take you longer to get to food because of traffic etc. The owner doesn't live on the property, but she's a quick 10 minute drive away and is always there to greet you when you arrive. The facilities are very clean and give you the option to have an outdoor stall, a stall that has covering, or an inside stall. There's a round pen and a very spacious arena with all the props to practice your trail skills. The kitchen and living room area is nice and roomy. A perfect place to relax if there's rain or to get out of the heat. If you want a nice bed because you're tired of trailer living, there are those options too. The bedrooms are located in the barn above the living room so you can keep an eye on your horses. It's got everything: kitchen, shower, beds, clean stalls, electric hook ups for your trailer, plenty of space and a nice view."

The guest house has a large kitchen so if you're traveling with a group there is everything, {including space,} you need to cook up some vittles. Our horses also had nice pens to stay in and got to enjoy the large indoor arena. Everything was way beyond our expectations and we are looking forward to our return trip on our way home where we can spend a couple of days there. I highly recommend a stop there."

They went out of their way to make us and our horse comfortable even though we called at the last minute. The facility is peaceful, clean, safe and easily accessible. I would recommend this stable to anyone !!! We will be back for sure !!!". . . (4/21/15) - "I could not be more pleased. We had a grueling day two of a three day journey from Arizona to Iowa. I had on board my lesson horse and my wife's Grand Prix Dressage horse. We were in much later than anticipated. Rick and his facility were the best thing for us. A great location, great communication, perfect overnight facility, great rate and a TRUE stockman is what I experienced. I highly recommend RC Arena.". . . (6/18/15) - "Great place! We were a super late arrival and we were greeted with a smile and hand shake. Thank you.". . . (8/2/16) - "Very nice place; easy to find, easy access. Rick & Cathy were very friendly. We arrived late both nights we stayed there from our trip to Texas. They were always up waiting with a smile. When I needed something Rick was right there with the tools or even helping to clean out our trailer.". . . (8/10/16) - "I highly recommend this facility! Very friendly owners and I highly recommend staying here if you are ever in need of a layover stop! We stayed here with two horses on our way to Texas and back home from Texas, and had the best experience. We arrived later than we had anticipated, but Rick and Cathy had no problem with this. The stalls were all ready for us when we arrived, including two water buckets! Our horses and us felt like we were right at home!"

Quiet and secluded and felt safe leaving my horses there. Motels and restaurants are only 5 minutes away! Highly recommend!!!". . . (5/1/20) - "A lovely and well-kept facility. Easy to find and easy to maneuver once there. Beautiful runs with sheds and water! Horses were happy to be able to run and kiss up. Made me smile. Also close to food. Hosts were gracious and friendly. Thank you, we'll be back!". . . (10/17/20) - "We stayed one night on October 11, 2020. We had two horses and we requested the outdoor pens and they were very nice and big with run in shelters. They had an automatic waterer that is shared between the two pens! The horses were happy to be able to roll and have lots of room to move around after a long day in the trailer."
