Facilities: There are many options for long or short-term boarding at Franktown Meadows: 12' x 12' box stalls with 12' x 24' outdoor runs, 12' x 12' box stalls, 12' x 16' box stalls with 12' x 24' outdoor runs, pipe shelters, pasture boarding. Each stall comes with an adjacent private tack locker, 1.5 inch rubber mats, and fresh water. Additional service options include daily cleaning, three times per day feeding, and blanketing. Facility Amenities: Warm and cold water wash racks, 15 grass turnouts, 4 round-pen lunging arenas, 125' x 225' indoor arena, 145' x 217' outdoor arena with adjacent 124' x 113' warm-up area, dressage court and adjacent warm-up area, bridle path and extensive trails within minutes,24-hour security with gated entrance.
BIOSECURITY means doing everything you can to reduce the chances of infectious disease being carried onto our property by people, animals, equipment, or vehicles, either accidentally or on purpose. Franktown Meadows requires documentation of a horse's immunizations at least 48 hours before its stay. This policy applies to all horses visiting the property, whether for short-term and/or long-term boarding and competition. The following vaccines are required: * EWT (Eastern and Western Encephalomyelitis and Tetanus) * West Nile * Rhino Flu * Strangles * Health Certificate ** Franktown Meadows respects the unique medical needs of each horse and will accept modifications to these vaccination requirements if documented and signed by your veterinarian. HORSES MUST RECEIVE THEIR VACCINATIONS AT LEAST 5 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL FOR MAXIMUM EFFECTIVENESS.
Location: Franktown Meadows is approximately 20 miles south of the I80/580 interchange in Reno, NV, and right on Hwy. 395 between Reno and Carson City.
