Her facility is well designed and offers both round pen and arena options for exercise. Her horses are mostly all personally bred and some of the most quiet and peaceful equines I have come across. I was able to tag along on a trail ride through the pear orchards before loading up for day two of my three day trip from Seattle to Los Angeles. It was some of the most beautiful country in the world and with more trails then one can ride in a year. I will be returning not just for a layover next time, but an intentionalized week long stay! Comments: (7/7/03) - "We did not put our horse in a stall. He was in an open paddock. Due to problems with one of our vehicles, our Friesian had to stay with Barabara for 4 instead of 1 night. With everything else we had to worry about, it was nice to know that I didn't have to worry about my horse in Barbara's care. Highly recommend her.". . .(8/29/03) - "Friendly, convenient, large outdoor pens within a fenced facility, small operation. Our horse and mule were very happy there, and we were relaxed enough with Barbara that we did not worry while we were away. Highly recommended! She willingly kept our 3 horses and trailer for a week when we experienced truck problems and kept in constant contact. While not as fancy as others, would definitely recommend. Easy access - less than 5-minutes off the highway (hotels/restaurants), driveway is an easy pull-through with a bumper-pull trailer. Comments: (7/13/02) - "Very nice set up in a residential area. Close to downtown Pendleton. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed our host.
