Comments: (9/22/22) - "I had the best stay at this farm. Jenny and her family made.me feel so welcome and helped me get parked and set up. The spacious stall was so comfortable and clean, my horse was well rested. I would love to stay longer next time and explore their trails with Jenny. I strongly recommend that, if you have the opportunity, you stay with this amazing family!". . . (10/31/22) - "Friendly, helpful and very clean. We’ve been here more than once and will be back."

Comments: (4/27/20) - "Larry woke up in the middle of the night to accommodate us and our mustang and went out of his way to give us exactly what we asked for. He has a very nice heated lounge and ample room for parking/trailer turn around. Larry was the best part of our cross country horse trailering adventure! Forever grateful!". . . (7/19/20) - "Larry was a great host. Nice sized pen with a lean-to."

(Editor's Comments): Due to the large amount of feedback we have received on this facility, all of it positive, we've posted only the more recent comments. We thank everybody who has sent in so many nice comments.
(6/27/15) - "BEST conversation, coffee, and caramel rolls EVER!Thanks again, Joanne and Duane for all your help. We feel like we made friends. JD and Pam". . . (8/11/15) - "Beautiful place to stay. Lovely hostess!!". . . (8/1/16) - "Had a great stay here while moving from WA to CT. Very friendly hosts. Accommodations and meals were outstanding! The horses had lots of room to move and roll and be kept together which we appreciated. Great fencing, wasn't at all worried about our little weanling finding a way to get into mischief. We would definitely come again and highly recommend!". . . (10/9/18) - "Great layover. GREAT FOOD.". . . (10/5/19) - "Joanne and Duane run a tip top place. We have a 3 horse LQ trailer with 2 horses and our dog. You do need to know how to back into the spot but the way the driveway is with the roads it is very easy. I just say this as I know there are some folks that don't like to back a trailer. I'm guessing Duane or Joanne would back it in if you asked. The driveway is rocked and even after torrential rains we were high and dry. We were greated on our way out to Medora with home made donuts and on our way back got fresh pumpkin pie. Pens were right next to our trailer so we could have full site of the horses. We cooked our own food but there is a truck stop with a cafe very close with limited hours for dinner. There is also a playground nearby if you have little ones that need to play. The town is small and nice to take the dog for a walk. I would highly recommend this horse motel.". . . (5/6/21) - "Duane & Joanne are wonderful hosts! Made us feel like family. There were large, three paddocks available (one with a loafing shed) as well as two stalls. Staying on site allowed me to check my horse at any hour of the night, which I did! We ate dinner at an excellent bar & grill about 10 miles away. The bed was very comfortable. We had a long day of driving ahead so did not stay for breakfast, but Joanne made a to-go breakfast and sent us on our way with delicious pastries and a thermos of coffee. I highly recommend this facility and would definitely stay here again.". . . (7/24/21) - "Very nice place to stop overnight for weary travelers with horses. Close to highway. First class hospitality! We will definitely reserve a spot the next time we plan a trip thru ND.". . . (9/19/21) - "What a nice stopping point as we traveled from Medora back to Wisconsin. Joanne and Duane were friendly and helpful, our horse was in a large pen next to our trailer with automatic waterer, and everything was clean as a whistle. Joanne is quite the baker. She dropped off 2 pieces of apple cake with caramel sauce for our dessert and then brought out donuts in the morning to have with our coffee. The pad we parked on was dead level - so no adjustments required which made for an easy exit in the AM. We would definitely stay here again on a trip through ND.". . . (6/20/23) - "I had been in contact with Joanne since I had left Wisconsin on my way to Washington state. I had let her know I was coming roughly 7 hours prior. Unfortunately, I had hit bad traffic coming through Minnesota and my arrival time was cut back to nearly 4 a.m. Joanne and her husband truly went above and beyond for me and the horse I was hauling! I can't thank them enough for their excellent hospitality even though I was extremely late. I highly recommend them for any layover when going through the great state of North Dakota. The communication was fantastic and I will definitely be coming through again! Also, her homemade muffins are some of the best I've ever eaten!"
