Comments: (5/5/13) - "I always turn to Darrell Fox and Willow Creek when I'm in the area with my horses to ride the Biltmore. Darrell is calm and knowledgeable, and you can't beat the location!". . . (5/11/13) - "I contacted Willow Creek Farm because I was going through Asheville, NC for an endurance race with two horses. I wanted a place to stay with them instead of making them ride in a trailer for hours on end after the race. Willow Creek turned out to be a wonderful place to keep my horses overnight or even for a riding vacation. Darrell was so great to work with, that I ended up staying for 4 days and riding at the Biltmore Esteate and also at Dupont Forest. Willow Creek is a working horse farm, so it's not like some expensive show barn, but the stalls are clean and safe, and the people who work there are really helpful. The owner lives on the property, just steps away from the barn. They have a couple of spots for an electric hookup for my LQ trailer, although one of them was a little tight for me to back into with my rig, so Darrell volunteered to park it, and did so perfectly. They have a nice covered arena that I was allowed to let my horses in to have off-time where they could roll around and relax. They also have an awesome Paso Fino Endurance stallion that I'm thinking about breeding one of my mares to! I highly suggest Willow Creek Farm for anyone who is traveling and needs a place to stop overnight, or wants to vacation with their horse and ride the NC mountain trails."

Comments: (1/17/12) - "Phyllis and Julia were great hosts. I'm definitely coming back. The stall for my horse was large and clean. They had an outdoor and indoor arena available. It's off the beaten path, but definitely worth the trip.". . . (8/9/12) - "I had a positive experience and would stay again.". . . (8/14/12) - "This was my first stop on my long trip from the NC coast to the OR coast. We pulled in the drive and were met with a smiling host! She made us feel very comfortable there. We had some truck troubles in the mountains and ended up having to stay an extra night, and I am so glad it was here! I knew my horse was in very good hands and I didn't have to worry about her at all while we ran errands for truck parts. This place comes highly recommended.". . . (5/28/13) - "Wonderful hospitality!! We arrived well after dark and Phyllis was there to meet us and help us get settled in. I never worried about my horse when we left her there and I'm pretty much a worry-wart about my horses. It was a real treat to have her in such a nice facility with such caring people.". . . (2/14/14) - "Enjoyed our 1 night stay traveling during a severe weather period the end of January.Originally planned on staying in our horse trailer but welcomed a night in the bunk house.Phyllis was a perfect host and gave us, our two bird dogs and 2 Tennessee Walkers special attention. Excellent Mexican restaurant about 15 miles away in Weaverville, NC. Ranch is nestled in a pretty area betweeen 2 mountains which I'm sure is appreciated the most during Spring, Summer or Fall visits. Plan on visiting again."

Comments: (4/24/12) - "I was travelling back to Ohio from Florida in mid April. We ended up deciding to make our stop point near Charlotte. The people were very accommodating (we arrived at about 1 am) and were there to greet us upon arrival, even with the short notice. Barn is back off of the road, and there was more than enough room to turn out for a little stretch before the rest of the trip home. The family was very friendly and I would let my boys stay there if I ever needed to lay-over in the Charlotte area again!". . . (1/21/13) - "I couldn't be happier with my 2 night stay at Creekside Farm. The facility was less than 10 minutes from the freeway, close to hotels and in great condition. Laura was extremely accommodating, even taking time to check on my horses while I was away all day attending business meetings. I plan on using again and would highly recommend to a friend.". . . (4/2/13) - "Laura was a great hostess and had very nice and secure facilities. I would definitely stay here again if we had to travel through the area! Thanks for your hospitality!". . . (3/18/14) - "We've boarded our horses at Laura's 6 times now. We prefer pasture turn-out after a long day's haul and she has a very nice pasture for our horses. She is very friendly and accommodating and runs an excellent operation. Creekside Farm is easy to get to and close to a wide choice of motels and restaurants as well as being convenient to the freeway. We will be overnighting there again this coming season and would recommend Creekside Farm to anyone passing through Charlotte."

Comments: (6/17/07) - "We stayed with Leslie and Bob, going and coming back from NYC. They were really wonderful folks, and very helpful to us. Their facilities are new and extremely clean and well organized. They are only about 3 miles off of I-95. A great location, and not hard to find. I would heartily recommend their place to anyone needing lodging in the North Carolina area. I really enjoyed meeting them both, and was very impressed with their knowledge and barn facilities. They really helped me out quite a bit, and I am beholding! Thanks, Leslie and Bob!". . .(3/6/08) - "Beautiful facility! Great stalls with small self-turnouts, round pen and trails. Close to I-95 and a variety of hotels within easy distance of three exits.". . . (2/28/08) - "Really nice people, great barn stayed there twice!". . . (10/26/10) - "Strongly recommended. Easy access. Very clean and comfortable. One of the best places our horse has ever stayed at while traveling. Great host.". . . (5/6/11) - "This was our 3rd time here and it was again a great stay. Leslie went above and beyond when our truck broke down 2 exits from her. She came and picked up our trailer and horses and found us great people to get us back on the road the next morning even though it was Thanksgiving eve. Thanks, Leslie & Bob.". . . (9/20/13) - "Very safe and enjoyable lay over facility. Highly recommended.". . . (8/13/14) - "Have stayed several times. Close to hwy. and hotels..Clean..Friendly Owner."

Comments: (2/20/14) - "Except for this being the most expensive of the places at which we stayed, the accommodations were very nice. They had a great lounge and hot showers for guests to use. The main problem we had were the directions to the ranch. What is on the website doesn't match actual street signage and there is no mention of going down a dead end street to a housing development. I was sure we were going the wrong way, but just then, you see the ranch sign. They need to fix their directions so you know where you're going. It is extremely convenient, literally five minutes off the interstate."
