Comments: (4/19/04) - "Horse and family oriented place and people. Beautiful, clean facilities. Great barn.". . .(6/13/04) - "Pam & her daughter were available when we arrived, even on such short notice and their love of horses was immediately evident. This is a new facility and was beautiful. The apartment is charming. Very accommodating, food close by, and trails to ride. Can't say enough about facilities and hosts. Hope to make use of this one much more!". . . (11/1/06) - "Pam was a wonderful host and the place was top notch. Facilities are wonderful, clean, and pleasant. Guest quarters are great and better than any motel. We will stay there as often as we pass through. We can't say enough good about Pam or her ranch.". . .(11/19/07) - "Facilities were immaculate and charming. A spacious stall for our horse, and a cozy and comfortable studio apartment for us. After a 12-hour journey, it was a real treat to find such lovely accommodations at the end of the day. We called basically last minute as we had not planned to stop in Lexington; made room for 5 horses no problem. Stalls were clean, large and lots of H2O available. Host was VERY friendly. I hope I never have to travel across the country (WV to AZ) again with 5 horse 3 dogs and 5 cats; but this was a great place to overnight.". . .(11/16/07) - "In my many trips to places farther north, I am sure to come upon a reason to stay again--and I'm looking forward to it! Wonderful hosts, clean barn--it was in the 30's and after ten at night when we arrived, and we ended up standing around the barn talking after the horses settled in."

Comments: (10/18/06) - "Wanda and Steve welcomed my sister, my 2 Cutting Horses and myself with warm smiles and very helpful hands. The stalls were absolutely immaculate and beautiful. Steve helped us park our living quarters trailer and hook up. We felt very relaxed and at home immediately. Our horses were able to rest peacefully after a long week of showing. We were able to enjoy the surrounding area, knowing our horses were in excellent hands. We definitely recommend Saddles and Sheets!!". . . (11/15/06) - "Saddles and Sheets is a great place to stay! Two of them compete internationally, and the other is a five year old who will be at that level as soon as he has the experience. I'm very picky about who I keep my horses with and I would glady leave them with Steve and Wanda for whatever length of time. They take such good care of all the horses, and the stalls/turnouts are beautiful!". . .(10/8/07) - "This place is unbelievable! The host and hostess were very friendly and kind. They cleaned our horses' stalls and were so service friendly -- they were very communicative about what was going to happen there and made sure it was what we expected and wanted for our horses. The facilities were so clean, they were pristine. The barn and turnout paddocks are awesome; they look like a Kentucky Thoroughbred farm. Our horses told us they didn't want to leave! The clean stalls, nice fans, and very large accommodations as well as the thick straw bedding were all too much to resist! The property is well maintained, and very clean. I was very safe there and enjoyed riding around the beautiful property. I couldn't wait to get home and schedule another trip there with my horses and dogs and husband so we can enjoy Keeneland and still have the comforts of home handy!". . .(10/21/07) - "My wife and I took our 3 horses, 2 dogs and camped in our horse trailer for 3 days. We were extremely pleased with the host and hostess and the cleanliness of the farm. Our horses were taken very good care of and we did not worry about them at all. Wanda and Steve were down to earth people who love horses and know alot about them and we liked them immediately. We were confident in the safety and security of our horses. We liked the area very much; there were a lot of things to do close by and since we were there to hang out at Keeneland, it was very close. We would highly recommend this horse hotel for any traveler, and are looking forward to our next visit.". . .(1/14/08) - "Steve was phenomenal! Very friendly, knowledgeable and courteous in addition to being concerned and hospitable. I highly recommend this facility for lay-over or extended stays. Place was lovely and my tired horse had a 3 acre paddock to stay in for the night and loved it and got a good nights rest. Barn was to die for; wish I had a barn like that. Comments: (6/24/05) - "Laura was truely a wonderful person to stay with!! My husband and I are from WI and travelled down to VA to pick up a horse and KY was half way home for us. We arrived at 0200 and Laura was down there waiting for us. Plus we had our dogs with us (lab & australian shepherd)! It was a very comfortable room with our own bathroom and she cooked us breakfast in the morning! I would go back in a second :) Thanks . . . (10/15/06) - "Excellent turnouts, very safe facility.". . .(7/2/07) - "I pulled into Shelbyville around 0215 due to truck problems and Laura woke up to give me directions and accommodate my horse and me. Upon leaving the next morning my truck broke down and she gladly took my horse and me back for a couple days before I was able to continue my trip. Laura was flexible and a great host! I will stay here in the future when making cross country trips!"
