(3/7/11) - "Third time there, great as ever, thanks Rex and Gayle.". . . (4/3/11) - "My daughter boards her TWH with Rex and Gayle at Lil Bit of Haven.........and I have to say that their farm/stable is aptly named. Over a period of 7 yrs. we have boarded at two other stables.......I wish we had discovered this facility and the owners early-on. But we are here now and could not ask for a more comfortable, secure boarding facility. Rex Williams goes out of his way to assure that all is okay, quick to address any concerns, and offers his training expertise as needed. His patience with and the care of his horses is admirable. He communicates well with his clients, is quick to notice a change in a horse, and is an excellent equine diagnostician--physical and behavioral. While Lil Bit of Haven is primarily advertised as a horse motel, I recommend this facility for boarding to anyone with a love for horses, a parent who has a child with a love for horses, owns/leases a horse, has a horse that needs training, behaviors to address, or child in need of riding lessons. As well, the owner is out on trail most weekends as weather permits and welcomes fellow riders who, for a small fee, may want to sign-on with him. A horse owner would have to go far to find the personhood and character readily recognized in the owners of this facility. We could not ask for more. Respectfully Submitted, Patricia A. Hill & Annie Hill.". . . (5/2/11) - "The Williams are very friendly and accommodating. The stalls are secure and the area is beautiful.". . . (5/3/11) - "Very nice people, recommend this place.". . . (7/12/11) - "They were the greatest. We were on the last leg of our trip moving from California to North Carolina 6/3/2011 and we were too tired to make it the rest of the way. We contacted Gayle last minute and they made room for us and let us sleep in our truck. They were very accommodating, the facility was beautiful. I can't say enough about how wonderful they were. If you ever need a safe place for your horse for over night they are the place to go in Kentucky. Thank you again so much for everything, Gayle and family; you were all the sweetest and it was pleasure meeting you.". . . (9/19/11) - "Very courteous and helpful. Thanks for everything.". . . (10/7/11) - "Rex & Gayle were very friendly as well as the animal welcoming committee (cats & dog)! Stalls were clean & prepared upon our arrival. Farm is quiet and horses were able to rest prior to a successful competition at KHP. Thank you!". . . (10/9/11) - "Very easy access from I-75. Rex met us at the gate to make sure we found his place at night and accommodated our horses as well as us with trailer parking and electric. Stalls were large, safe, and clean. Easy access to restaurants, shops, and hotels. Recommend highly.". . . (3/13/12) - "I called Rex late at night to find a layover for three horses. Rex was very friendly and helpful when I talked to him. (Even as late as I called). He gave directions and contact numbers. We were to arrive at 4:00am and they had no problem at all with this. Called Gayle 15min before arriving and they directed us to the farm. They are waiting for you when you arrive. Very friendly and helpful. We will come back here. Overall satisfaction is above positive. Thank you.". . . (4/6/12) - "After a stressful day on the road. Our hosts were warm and very friendly. The facility is tops. Our first time at a horse motel. We will use again.". . . (4/30/12) - "Very nice overnight! Nice motels/restaurants nearby. Felt very nice leaving my horse with this facility...hosts were friendly and helpful. Stalls were clean and adequate! WILL STAY AGAIN!". . . (5/13/12) - "Rex and Gayle were very accommodating. My horses were able to stretch their legs and then have a comfortable night in 12' x 12' box stalls. We will stay here again.". . . (5/8/12) - "Rex and Gayle were very helpful. It was nice to have a nice place to stay to allow my horses to relax. We will stop there again.". . . (8/1/12) - "Hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Took excellent care of my horse and went out of his way to help us out. Would absolutely recommend. Great facility and great people.". . . (10/25/12) - "Rex was a great host! Close to I-75 and easy to get there. I have a mini frieghtliner and 5 horse trailer (50+feet) had no trouble getting in at all which is not always the case at other places . Nice size stalls and clean place to stay. Thanks again Rex; we will stay here again!". . . (2/11/13) - "We were traveling from Michigan to Florida on 1-29-2013 & glad we chose to stay at Rex & Gayles facility; they are very genuine and helpful.". . . (3/9/13) - "Rex was very helpful with easy directions from the interstate. The barn was spotless. I would recommend highly.". . . (3/10/13) - "Rex was very welcoming and kind. Beautiful barn and clean stalls. He even brought out coffee in the a.m.! Very generous people and it would be a pleasure to stay there again.". . . (4/13/13) - "Great location, beautiful country. Gracious hosts! Will stop again!". . . (4/15/13) - "I enjoyed staying at Gayle and Rex's farm. They were very friendly and helpful.". . . (4/23/13) - "Rex was a great host. This facility does have some challenges for larger rigs but is very nice with spacious stalls and open padducks. I highly recommend this facility for all traveling horse owners or haulers."

(1/14/08) - "Steve was phenomenal! Very friendly, knowledgeable and courteous in addition to being concerned and hospitable. I highly recommend this facility for lay-over or extended stays. Our mustang mares fresh from holding were super comfortable and well taken care of! Thank you!". . .(6/7/08) - "What a beautiful place; they were very nice. Place was lovely and my tired horse had a 3 acre paddock to stay in for the night and loved it and got a good nights rest. Barn was to die for; wish I had a barn like that. A 5 star horse hotel if you ask me and Joker my horse. Would stop there again in a heart beat.". . . (7/29/09) - "I have had the pleasure to overnight my horse "Scotty" there twice now. I move a lot and have travelled from coast to coast several times-- using boarding found through this site. This has been the best location due to its facility and the care and attention given to my horse by the owners. I certainly will stay here again if the oppurtunity presents itself. Thanks, Dale.". . . (9/15/09) - "NICE PLACE!! with everything you need. Could not ask for more from these folks. Facility fit for royalty. Very easy access off I-64! We'll definitely return here next time.". . . (8/4/10) - "Saddles and Sheets Equine Inn is an awesome facility. The owners, Wanda and Steve, were the perfect hosts and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as easy and convenient as possible. They were very accommodating to us and our horses needs. I will definitely use Saddles and Sheets again for my future travels and would recommend the facility to any traveling horse owner.". . . (8/14/10) - "Great place to stay. Our horses were welcomed with fresh water, a fan and straw up to their bellies. We were very happy with our stay. Very very clean and very very friendly. We are staying again in september!". . . (4/16/11) - "On our move across the country with our 3 horses, this was the nicest place we stayed. Hosts were very friendly and helpful!". . . (6/15/11) - "Stopped overnight from South Carolina to Michigan with my 3 month old orphan foal. First time he had been in a trailer. Steve was waiting for us in the driveway and lead us right to the barn where we safely unloaded. Then into a safe, comfy stall with straw like a feather mattress, water and hay. Everything was beautiful, Pinesol clean, even the main aisle was raked. FIRST RATE! Thank you Steve and Wanda.". . . (7/28/11) - "My horses were safe. I was very confident. In their care.". . . (8/7/11) - "Saddles and Sheets was really great! Nice big turnout pens with lots of grass, excellent care, friendly service.". . . (9/28/11) - "This is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed with our horse(s)! Steve was so nice and, although we showed up later than planned, he had everything set up, the barn lights on, and welcome mat out. UhOh actually stayed out in a paddock, which we had requested, and it was great! Excellent fencing, automatic waterer, grass, and we were able to stay in our trailer on premises. We also liked how we were off the road adequately, but had easy access to main roads and the interstate. We difinitely felt safe and had no concerns. I would highly recommend this place. Thanks so much Steve and Wanda!". . . (11/20/11) - "The owner of the stable was very hospitable. The stables were very easy to find from the highway. I felt my horse was very safe there. The owner was on the premises. I will definitely visit these stables again if in the area, will also tell my friends about it.". . . (1/23/12) - "I can't say enough positive things about Saddles & Sheets! The farm was recommended to me by word of mouth and I was beyond satisfied with my stay. The facility was extremely clean and the heavily bedded stalls were HUGE! Steve was a pleasure to work with as well. Very friendly, professional, accommodating, and easy to get ahold of! I will definitely stop back on my way through Lexington.". . . (5/10/12) - "Unlike many of the other places we have stayed in the past during numerous trips across the country, this one is just as good, if not better, as the add suggests. The owners were super friendly and available, had a nice clean stall with very clean buckets, all very safe, already set up, and my horse got to be turned out in a beautiful pasture as soon as he got off the trailer. While we are in very close proximity to the highway and hotels (but far enough to not hear traffic or be concerned about a loose horse), we chose to stay in the living part of our trailer. The barn has clean bathrooms and a sink. For a horse farm, it's all very neat, clean, organized and safe. I would definitely make it a point to stay here in the future! Highly recommended.". . . (5/9/12) - "One of the best places I've stayed at across the country. The owner, Steve Moberly, helped me locate a replacement spare to replace the one I used for a blow out on he way there, even driving me into town to pick it up! Super relaxed environment for the horse, with beautiful lush paddocks for grazing and big open stalls with fans. Cleaner than my own barn! LOVED IT!". . . (7/16/12) - "Cannot say enough good things about Steve and Wanda at Saddles and Sheets. I am so appreciative & thankful for their hospitality, and eagerness to go ABOVE & BEYOND in helping me and my horses when my truck broke down. They are the kindest people I have ever came across, and defintely made a friendship for life. I am greatful for all the help, and the SUPERB care my horses recieved. Beautiful facilities, great care, and honest, trustworthy people. Thanks again, cannot express it enough in words. Hope to come again under much less stressful circumstances."
